permission to be human

A guided journey inward shared in community, designed to return to your body, elevate your state, and raise the collective vibration.

return to feeling

life has become increasingly loud, filled with constant input.

we live in our heads and attention moves away from the body.

this is a space to come back to yourself - to what can actually be felt.

embrace imperfection

to be human is to be expressive and unrefined.

yet very few spaces allow for that without correction or judgment.

here, the mess is welcome. it’s who you are when you’re not overthinking or performing.

shift your chemistry

rhythm, repetition, and sound shift your chemistry.

dopamine rises, cortisol softens, and your nervous system settles.

this is your biology and body coming back online.

open state

where joyride and creativity meet.

Open State is a conscious collaboration built on a simple (and science-backed) idea: when your nervous system is regulated and your body is awake, something opens up.

you think differently, connect more honestly, and access a kind of creativity that doesn't come from trying harder but from being more present.

Our experiences combine guided movement and music with creative exploration - designed to get you out of your head and back into your body, where the good stuff lives.

faq

  • absolutely not. joyride is for everyone, regardless of experience or fitness level. the journey is about moving your body in a way that feels good - there’s no judgment, no pressure, just freedom to be and explore.

  •  comfortable, light clothing you can move in easily - think yoga or athletic wear. layers are great, as we tend to get a little sweaty. you can opt for barefoot, socks, or clean indoor sneakers.

  • the joyride journey is approximately 70 minutes. It’s an inward journey shared in community, designed to shift your energy, reconnect your body, and elevate your state of being.

  • we provide headphones and all necessary gear for your ride. we recommend bringing a water bottle (we also have water available during the journey) and a yoga mat or towel (used for the final portion of the journey only).

  • absolutely! many people attend solo - it’s a great way to connect with yourself and meet others in the community.

  • joyride is adaptable for all bodies. The guided movements are designed to be accessible, and you can modify any movement to suit your comfort level or ability. If you have specific concerns, feel free to reach out.

  • yes, there will be guidance throughout the journey, but you also have the freedom to do what feels good for you. we always say: take what serves, leave what doesn’t - this is your journey.

  • absolutely! joyride is more fun with friends, but remember to register each participant so we can reserve a spot and provide headphones. you can purchase more than one ticket through the registration link.

  • joyride is a safe, transformative space. people often feel lighter, more grounded, and energized afterward. Some may even experience emotional release - a natural part of reconnecting with your body and energy.
